Goa TET Exam Pattern 2023:
The candidates who are desirous of becoming teachers in various schools across the state will need to answer two papers – paper 1 and paper 2. If you are looking to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5, you will need to clear paper 1 alone. If you want to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8, you will need to appear for both papers 1 and 2.
Each paper comes with 150 questions and needs to be answered in 150 minutes. There are five sections that cover five subjects. Each subject carries 30 marks worth of the questions. The questions are of multiple choice type. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.
Subjects for the Paper 1 would include Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, and Language II, along with mathematics and environmental studies. The subjects for paper 2 are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, and Language II, and Science and social science.

Goa TET examination eligibility criteria
For Primary Level 1 Class 1-5 Goa TET Qualification

- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed/BTC &
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 45 % Marks and 2-year D.El.Ed/ BTC by NCTE &
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% Marks with 4 Year 2 Year D.El.Ed
For Level Class 6-8 Goa TET Qualification
- Should have completed BA/ BSc and 2 Year D.El.Ed
- Must have Qualified BA/ BSc with a minimum of 50% marks and 1 Year B.Ed
