Jharkhand TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Paper 1 – for teaching classes 1 to 5
- Should have passed the 10+2 certificate with 55% marks.
- Must have passed the BA / B.Sc./ B.Ed Degree certificate with 55% marks.
- If you are in the Elementary Education 2nd Year Diploma Course, you can apply
Paper 2 – for teaching classes 6 to 8
- Should have completed a degree and in their final year diploma with 55% marks
- Those with Senior Secondary / B.Ed. 4 Year Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or final year in Elementary Education can also apply.

The examination is conducted in the following pattern
- Number of papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2
- Total marks – 150 each in both the papers
- Number of sections – five each in every paper
- No negative marking
Subjects for paper 1 – Child Development and Pedagogy, language 1, language 2, Mathematics, environmental studies
Subjects for paper 2 – Language 1 and Language 2, mathematics and science, social studies
