National Institute of Technology Meghalaya invites applications from Indian nationals possessing requisite academic qualifications and experience, with commitment to work and an inclination towards institutional development, for appointment to the various positions listed below on permanent basis.

Assistant Registrar Essential Qualification:

  • Post graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute.
  • Experience of least 3 years at Grade Pay of `4800/- or higher in a reputed organisation.
  • Persons with Commerce or Finance background will be preferred for one of the posts.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in area of Management / Engineering / Law.
  • Proficient in handling computerized administration / legal / financial / establishment / academic matters.
  • A Chartered or Cost Accountant degree or diploma for the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts).
 PB-3 (`15,600/- to 39,100/-) with GP of `5,400/- 35 Years 1-UR 1-OBC
Superintendent Essential Qualification:

  • First class (Hons.) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent grade from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline. OR
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
  • At least 2 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge in use of Office Automation Software.
 PB-2 (` 9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of `4200/- 30 Years 1-UR 1-ST
Junior Assistant Essential Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in use of Office Automation Software

 PB-1 (` 5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of `2000/- 27 Years 2-UR
Junior Assistant (Library) Essential Qualification:

  • Graduate in Library Science.
  • Experience of at least 2 years working in a Library. OR
  • Post Graduate Degree in Library Science.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Library Automation/ knowledge of computerization of Library.
 PB-1 (` 5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of `2000/- 27 Years 1-ST
Junior Engineer (Civil) Essential Qualification:

  • First Class Diploma of 3 Yrs. duration in Civil Engineering with two years relevant experience. OR
  • B.Tech/ B.E. in Civil Engineering
 PB-2 (` 9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of `4200/- 30 Years 1-UR
Multi-tasking Staff (Welder) Essential Qualification:

  • ITI Certificate in Welder Trade.
  • Class 10 passed from a recognized Board.
  • Two Yrs. relevant experience.
 PB-1 (` 5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of `1800/- 27 Years 1-ST
