TN TET 2023 – Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for applying to the TN TET examination would be
For TN TET Paper-I (for classes I-V)
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50 % marks along with a 2-year Diploma Programme in Elementary Education
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45 %marks, along with a two-year Diploma program in Elementary Education.
- Graduation with a two-year Diploma program in Elementary Education
- Graduation with at least 50 %marks. Appearing or passed in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
For TN TET Paper-II (for classes VI-VIII)
- Graduation with a two-year Diploma program in Elementary Education
- Graduation with 50% marks and the Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) program
