TSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023
As with any examination, you need to be qualified for the examination. The eligibility criteria for the exam would be on the following lines –
For primary-level teachers
- You must have at least 50% of marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board (45% for OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST)
- You must have a two-year Diploma in Special Education/a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B El Ed)/a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- You will also be eligible if you have secured 45% and above marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board (45% for OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST).
- You have a two-year Diploma in Special Education/a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ four-year B El Ed.
For upper primary teachers
- You must have a B. Com/ BA/ BSc with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (45% for OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST).
- You should also have a Bachelor of Education specializing in Special Education/ Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.)
- You will also be eligible if you have BSc./ B. Com/ BA with 50% aggregate marks (40% for OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST).
- You should also have a Bachelor of Education specializing in Special Education/ Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.)
